Umeh Is Of No Relevance In Anambra Politics – Udah

| February 22, 2013 | 0 Comments

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Mike Udah, has dismissed   enstranged All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh, as an unknown quantity in Anambra politics. This was just as he said that his views on Governor Peter Obi were all sound and fury signifying nothing.

Udah said these while briefing journalists in his office at Government House, Awka, yesterday.

He said that contrary to claims by Chief Umeh that he was instrumental to the victory of Governor Obi at the polls, it was Governor Obi himself who single- handedly made APGA what it is today, and has sustained it in Anambra and other states.

Udah recalled that the Governor picked Chief Umeh from obscurity, nurtured and brought him to political lime light.

The Chief Press Secretary, who refuted an allegation that the governor influenced the judgment of the Enugu State Chief Judge which sacked Chief Umeh as the National Chairman of APGA, wondered how a State Governor could dictate and influence the decision of an independent judicial officer of the rank of a Chief Judge of another State.
