Okorocha Swears-In New Imo Head Of Service

The Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha has confirmed the appointment of Mrs. Nkechi Onumajulu as the new Imo state Head of Service after working in acting capacity since November 2012.

During the swearing in ceremony which took place in the Sam Mbakwe expanded EXCO chambers in the Government House in Owerri the state capital, the governor charged Mrs. Onumajulu to ensure that discipline and productivity is instilled in the state civil service.

He also urged her to key into the rescue mission agenda in order to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state and also enhance the standard of living of all workers.

While responding to the charge, Mrs. Onumajulu commended the governor for the appointment and promised to cooperate with the state government in order to achieve the desired goals of the rescue mission of the his administration.

She promised to contribute her own quota to the upliftment of the state civil service.
