Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has affirmed that the Nigerian film industry is taking over the market from Hollywood.

The actress, who was one of the panelists at the fifth edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference, stated, ‘The industry has evolved and a good number of movies can now compete with Hollywood movies.’

Abraham added, ‘The advent of social media has also helped tell stories that have never been heard before, how people react and get involved with such stories have helped shape the industry, now we know the kind of stories to tell and how to tell them.’
