Ghana/Mali: Goal-Scorer’s T-Shirt Leads to Suspension

Ghana beat Mali by one goal to nil.

And the scorer, Wakaso Mubarak after scoring his goal was to admire his T-shirt that read “Allah is great”.

James Appiah, the coach of Ghana, has condemned the act of the player: “I told him at halftime, it was not a good thing and he would not have done that. I hope that this will serve as a lesson to other players. “

Wakaso Mubarak was warned with a yellow card and as it is his second of the competition, he was suspended for the next encounter on Monday against Niger.
