Anambra people in USA happy with Obi

The President of Anambra State Association in America – ASA USA, Dr. Allison Anadi commended the caliber of experienced and reputable professionals appointed by Governor Obi in the new Executive Council.

In a release made available to the press, Dr. Anadi, who is in the State to prepare for the 2012 Medical Mission of the Association to Anambra, said they were impressed with high level of development recorded by Governor Obi’s government and assured the organization would sustain collaboration with the State Government to keep the State ahead.

Recalling how the organisation inspected the projects executed by the Government of Obi, he said they were satisfied with him for his commitment to Anambra State. He expressed happiness at the accreditation of Anambra State Teaching Hospital and College of Medicine, which he noted was at construction stage during the inspection.

The ASA – USA helmsman disclosed that they would commence this year’s mission in August with six missions including security mission to support government to promote security across the state.

On the reference to Anambra State as one of the poorest, Anadi wondered what Mallam El Rufai knows about Anambra State to warrant such a categorical statement. He said the statement was wrong and unfounded.
