2013: Cleric wants Nigerians to unite in prayers against insecurity

| December 31, 2012 | 0 Comments

Temple of Absolute God and Universal Worship Centre in Nri, Anambra State, Prophet Ramas Okoye Asuzu, has warned that the level insecurity witnessed in the outgoing 2012, might continue in the country unless Nigerians and leadership joined forces in prayers.

Ramas, who addressed journalists last weekend at the End-of-Year review at the church’s headquarters in Nri, Anambra State, said Nigeria could only overcome its myriads of challenges by prayers.

“Nigerians have sinned more than Sodom and Gomorrah; the bombings, bloodsheds and kidnappings that are reported daily are nothing compared to the secret killings and massive corruption carried out in high and low places in the country are unacceptable God.

Therefore, President Goodluck Jonathan and Nigerians generally must seek the face of God for one whole day in prayer and fasting in 2013,” he said.
